Small panel with big power By Hillside Tommy I bought this Go Power! 95 watt solar kit from a local RV dealer early this year. I liked this panel because it was one of the smallest panels that I could find that still put out a lot of power. I have not had to worry about dead batteries since I had the kit installed on my travel trailer. The panel really does get power even in overcast days. This kit comes with a 25 amp charge controller so I can add more panels to the system down the road without changing the regulator, although I don't think I need to at this time. The display shows the voltage of the batteries and current that the panel is putting into my batteries. All in all the kit does what it claimed to do and I am very satisfied with the system. I used the velcro mounting option to attach the Liquid Caddy to the handlebar and it works great! FYI - the velcro mount actually has an additional velcro extension attached to it. The battery did not activate with the solar charger and I had to use the wall outlet. I also could not get my cell phone to charge off the internal battery but technical support has been pretty friendly and helpful so far. Some things have not been resolved as of yet. A note to keep in mind is that the unit seems to need to be in direct light for a long time. The window approach did not work all that well as direct light was not available full time. The radio does not have an antenna but sounds pretty good and the lights, my primary reason for the purchase, are flashlight quality. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Doc TMS By T. When I complained to UPS they gladly refunded my shipping charges, however they refunded them to CMS and told me I need to get CMS to refund them to me and that is becoming a real chore. The instructions that come with the generator are in a oriental language and I had to send emails to CMS to get English info which still is minimal. All said and done the generator is still in the box because I'm waiting for CMS to email me with the needed info before I can install it. Amazon does not seem to allow it's customers to complain to them (I have yet to find an email or phone #) so this is all I have. I put a reveiw on here a week ago but didn't see it posted so I assume they won't post this one either, but I have to tried since all I have for my $721 is a box of metal. I have to warn any prospective buyer of this product to avoid it, IT IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. There are other better generators on the internet. Look around first. See all 1 customer reviews...

Sanders I've used this about 3 times now and have NO complaints with one caveat. The Inverter does not come with a power cord. Luckily I had one left over from my previous inverter. By Tim I originally bought this to power a 1000 W immersion heater, but the heater apparently pulls more like 1200 W. This inverter would trip almost immediately upon turning on the immersion heater. Excellent Inverter, but not for powering UPS By Lorenzo This DC/AC inverter is extremely well built and very quiet, even when the thermal-control fan is running. The terminals on the back are heavy-duty and come with washers and nuts. I was planning to power my computer and satellite modem on my farm by connecting my existing APC UPS to this inverter, but for some reason the fault LED lights up and the inverter shuts down. Another reviewer mentioned this problem already, explaining it was because of the modified sine-wave technology. There are smaller and bigger versions of this inverter on Amazon (mostly under the Xantrex brand, which manufactures it for Duracell), so it is easy to choose according to one's needs (in my case, 1000W is a huge overkill for the computer gear only, but I may be able to power a large LCD monitor or a TV in the future). Rip Off By Dan Tower I purchased the supposed 18V, 320mA Portable Traveling Solar Charger for Laptop mobile digital power bank. When I got the package the item was NOT as advertised but a mobile charger for a cell phone with essentially no instruction and accrding to the specs only produces 5-6 volts. I attempted to contact seller numerous times and seems the phone number is disconnected. The name of the company is Sunvalleytech International Inc. I use it for back up power at home. My wood stove heats the house and this inverter powers my whole den. Cable TV, computer, lights, microwave, etc. I run a string of christmas lights up the stairs to the kithen and bedrooms. My power source is a Diehard PM-1 deepcycle marine platinum battery. It's on trickle charge all the time. I had mine running 2 LG 10,000 btu window air conditioners to see if it would work and it worked like a charm! At first i ran the ac units and the wire was getting a little hot at the connections so I used a heavier gauge wire and a better connector and it works great. This inverter was worth every penny in my opinion. I made a battery pack that it connects to power all my fun camping stuff for when I go camping. The product itself is made nicely even the remote looks sweet, they could have cut corners on a lot of things but instead they did not. I love power bright just for that! For those of you that are wondering the inverter itself starts beeping at around 10.5v and its not a loud annoying beep that you will find on other inverters, its gentle to my ears. Also the unit turns off completely @ 15.3v If you get this unit be sure to read the manual, its pretty short and sweet and has some useful info in it as well. Use 2 gauge or 0 gauge for best results. Make sure you use this with a deep cycle battery for optimum power. Yesterday noon I got the X-Power 400 delivered by UPS, and in few hours it was put to its ultimate test. Yes we were hit by the 08/14 Thursday North East Blackout. But with the help of the X-Power 400, I was able to hookup the 13"TV and Dish receiver. Enought to spend the restof the evening siting in the desk and watching the CNN news update and TV programs with family and friends. I love the cigrette adapter and the battery clips. I used the battery clips to get power from my car battery. I recommend X-Power 400 for any regular household use. If you are planning to operate power tools, I suggest get the 700 or above. This 400 is smart, small in size packed with all the energy to keep your entertainment rolling without any interrruption. This unit can attach to the cigarette lighter or directly to the battery. The 700 watt unit skips the lighter input -- fine with me but maybe not with you. If you need lighter input then get the 400 watt unit. I will say that the inverter is well built and designed. I like the fact that the power input leads are attached via screw posts.
